Joining our classes is an amazing opportunity to strengthen your bond with your dog. In addition to learning in a fun and exciting environment, your dog can also advance their obedience skills and build up their confidence. Pawsitive Connections only use positive and humane methods that aim to support your furry friend’s mental and emotional health. Whether you have a new puppy or a senior furry friend, we have classes tailored to meet their unique needs. Puppy Training
Puppy training should be more than just about teaching your pup a few cues/commands; it is about setting the foundation for a lifelong friendship and instilling essential behaviors that will help prevent potential problems down the road.
New Rescue Dog Sessions
It is diligent to get appropriate input to set your dog up for success as taking the wrong advice on social media or You Tube could prove costly in terms of consequences further down the line.
Children & Dogs Sessions
Dogs are everywhere and if your child has a fear of dogs, this must be challenging for them. I follow a careful protocol, tailored to your child’s needs, working towards reducing if not eliminating this fear enabling your child to live their life without this burden.
Pet Gun Dog Classes
Your gun dog was bred to do a job, and that wasn’t chasing a tennis ball. If they’re innate needs aren’t met, you can find them making their own fun. These courses are designed to teach you how to provide an outlet for your dogs needs.
Parkour
A fun dog sport which has a calming effect on your dog. It is easy for the handler, and most dogs love it. It develops proximity to you, focus, confidence, body awareness and even recall! It’s low impact and low heights, so even dogs with physical conditions can benefit!
General Training Classes
I offer a range of classes including Pet Gun Dog, puppies, Juniors -general training, Which Hunt, Scent Hurdling and Parkour. At the heart of them all, is working towards a trained dog who is having fun.
